Beginner Swing Dance Class

Our fun and social beginner classes are a fantastic introduction to swing dancing. We run 9 week blocks which line up with the school terms however the classes are drop in friendly, meaning you can pick and choose what classes suit you. I would suggest starting near the start of term though, the last 3 or 4 classes will be slightly more challenging.

When: 6.45 - 7.45 Monday night

Where: 11 Hastings St, Washington Valley (opposite Spotlight).

How much: Drop in classes are $15

Intermediate Swing Dance Class

Intermediate Classes

Once you know the basics, you are welcome to join in with our intermediate class. You do need to know how to do tuck turns, pass bys, Charleston and swing outs which takes 2 or 3 blocks. However if you're really keen you can always practice at home or get private lessons to level you up faster.

Every fortnight we head down to Two Thumbs and have a dance! Everyone is welcome to join in. We sometimes even have a free taster class. Enjoy a chat, have a drink and have fun jumping around to fun swing music.
