Our fun and social beginner classes are a fantastic introduction to swing dancing. I would suggest starting near the start of term though, the last 3 or 4 classes will be slightly more challenging.

Intermediate Classes
Once you know the basics, you are welcome to join in with our intermediate class. You do need to know how to do tuck turns, pass bys, Charleston and swing outs which takes 2 or 3 blocks. However if you're really keen you can always practice at home or get private lessons to level you up faster.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. We rotate partners during class as we believe that's the fastest way to learn. Plus you get to meet more people and is closer to what social swing dance events are like. Although if you want to bring a partner or friend and only dance with them, you are more than welcome to do that too.
No, just come to any class class to sign up. Arrive 10 minutes before class and chat with our friendly teachers who can sign you in.
Not at all. We endeavour to make our classes assessable to anyone. Two left feet? We don't mind, come and give it a go anyway. If you really want to do easy classes, come during week 1 or 2 of a block. After week 5 or 6 of any block, the classes start getting more challenging.
The cost for 9 week block is $105. However if you’re not sure if you can get to all the classes you can pay $15 for casual entry (per class).
